National Lutheran Schools Week (by Mrs. Kim Hood)
During the week of January 23, St. Paul’s, along with 1,950 other Lutheran Schools across the country, celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week. The theme “In All Things” was based on Colossians 1:15-20.
Our students and staff had a week of fun-filled activities and dress up days. Highlights included Teachers vs. Girls Volleyball Team in which the students pulled out the victory in three hard fought games, and a Pep Rally full of school spirit and silliness.
We were also blessed by visits from our two local Lutheran High Schools.
Students enjoyed a visit from Crean Lutheran High School’s varsity basketball team. Coach Nate Klitzing (former St. Paul’s teacher) and his team thrilled the students with their basketball skills and joined our D1 team for some fun skill games.
Our chapel service was presented by Orange Lutheran High School’s Creative Worship band. Their performance and testimony brought much joy to our campus.
Finally, we celebrated the milestone anniversaries of many of our staff. You can share in that celebration here: St. Paul's Ministry Milestones
