Recognizing Excellence and Service

Since 2009, St. Paul’s Lutheran School has proudly sponsored a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. NJHS recognizes Middle School students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

Membership is both an honor and a responsibility, reflecting each student’s commitment to academic achievement, personal integrity, and servant leadership.

Scholarship

Demonstrating dedication to learning and academic achievement.

Leadership

Positively guiding and influencing others through words and actions.

Service

Using one’s gifts and time to serve the school and wider community.

Citizenship

Contributing responsibly and respectfully to the community.

Character

Living with integrity, respect, responsibility, and compassion.

Becoming an NJHS Member

1. Invitation to Apply

Eligible students in Grades 6–8 are invited to apply each school year.

2. Application and Selection

Applications are distributed in the fall, and selections are made during the spring semester.

3. Induction Ceremony

New members are formally recognized during the annual NJHS Induction Ceremony in the spring.
