Caring for the Whole Child

At St. Paul's Lutheran School, we are committed to nurturing the academic, social-emotional, spiritual, and character development of every student. We believe children thrive when school and home work together, and we value the strong partnership we share with our families.

Our School Counselor, Mrs. Amy Watson, works closely with the Assistant Principal, Student Support Director, teachers, and families to support the unique needs of each student. Through proactive support, collaboration, and Christ-centered care, we help students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Partnering with Families

Parents are always encouraged to reach out with questions or concerns regarding their child's social-emotional well-being. Working together, we can provide the support and encouragement each child needs to thrive.

Coming Soon: CHOC WellSpace

Thanks to a generous grant from Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), now part of Rady Children's Health, St. Paul's is creating a WellSpace to further support the well-being of our students.

Currently under construction, our counseling room is being transformed into a welcoming, calming environment where students can pause, reset, practice healthy coping strategies, and receive support from trusted school staff. The WellSpace will also serve as a dedicated home for counseling services, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), small groups, and family support.

This new space reflects our commitment to caring for the whole child by providing students with practical tools to build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and thrive academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.
